Private Messages

Is there a way on here of setting a setting so as not save copies of messages that you send each time into Sent Items?

I have looked but cant really see anything in Control Panel so sort of hoping I've missed something

Go Into Private Messages, Create Message page, at bottom there is a tick bock in Save copy. Remove and save and it won't save copies of anymore that you send.
We had this query a couple of weeks ago only in reverse as the member wanted to save the copy and he had unticked the box.

Thanks Fireblade. It seems that i need to change it each time though. Is there a way of defaulting it?

Go to -
Settings & Option > Edit Options
Scroll down until you come to -
When sending private messages the forum can make a copy of the message in your Sent Items folder.
Save a copy of sent messages in my Sent Items folder by default

Remove tick from box.

Job done
