RD2 Victorian Hillclimb Championship
RD2 Victorian Hillclimb Championship..... This Weekend 27th @28th Rob Roy Clintons rd Christmas Hills.....Practice Saturday and all the action Sunday....News fron the Colony of Victoria....The word is that we will not see the gould this year as Andrew will be looking after son Rhys in Victorian Motor Racing Series.... The Brett Hayward 08 which won the VHC last year is now for sale....One car that will be misssing is the Dallara of A Foleyafter a engine Failure at Bryant Park.. but im told they will be there at Camperdown.. Rod Moody showed exceptional speed at Bryant Park on a track which is favoring small wheelbase cars..Rod may well push hard this weekend....More News Later this week......

News ... Rob Roy Practice today... cool conditions this weekend after a scorcher yesterday 34d...Great day at ballarat swapmeet yesterday...practice starts in roughly 30 mins... Peter Bails [SA] iconic Mallock u2 mk21b is for sale this car had many wins and hillclimb records both here and SA also won the VHCCin the mid 90s i believe that this car was bought as plans from Mallock and built here in SA by peter...

Rd 2 Victorian Hillclimb Championship........... Rob Roy run by the MG car club of Victoria. Another great day here. Congrats to David White ahis band of Volunteers this was davids last Rob Roy as the chief.. Well done for all your years of service...What an amazing day we had it all rain and sunshine.... TOP Five Brett hayward 18.07 great drive to come back as Rod Moody was leading all day Rods time of 19.09 was another PB Scott Thompson Phirana 20.56 another good time getting back to some form. bruce minahan 21,33 with Peter Minahan 21.74... this event had it all and was a great picnic event as Quoted car park was full and the food ran out by 2pm.. Cars and drivers put on a good event ....Each event has it own personality next event MT Leura Camperdown

Victorian Hillclimb Championship.... News and pointscore...After a great weekend which had it all.. its shaping up to be a battle between Brett Hayward @Rod Moody as both are pushing hard. Rod has a spring in his step this year i havent seen him drive like this for some time.. and the cheetah is fast and reliable as ever.. Bretts driving has alwys been excetional and the 09 car the evolution of the many cars he has built remains his best until the next....NSW news Peter Gumley back on top but has had major help from M Oastler ... with the aero a weight reduction of the SCV.. Western Australian Gary West now has the Pillbeam and will most likey enter for the Australians held in Collingrove in SA.. later this year... and should be a weekend well worth the wait.....Point score top five VHCC...... Brett Hayward hayward 09 .. 40points Rod Moody cheetah 34.. Bruce Minehan hayward 07 ...24 Scott Thompson Pirahana ..24 Peter Minehan hayward 07 ..21.........
