sbd sprint

hi all a few guernsey hillclimb drivers are going to take part in a few sprint rounds, all cars are to hill climb regs but is there anything different we need to compete. rain light, fire ext, hans ,mirrors ect also do you run the same tyre compound .

The regs for Hillclimb and Sprint are both in the same section of the blue book, they are Speed regs applicable all speed events.

The compounds are similar, but as the sprints tend to be longer and generally faster than the mainland hills (especially on the circuits used by the BSC) some may run a little harder.

By "sbd sprint" do you mean the British Sprint Championship?

The Junior Challenge over 4 rounds that you select may well fit the bill.

hi steve , yes this is what we are looking at , does a two dayer count as one or two events

Answer = 2. Not like the BHC rounds you get the parctices, timed runs and run offs on each day

Regs are out for Combe already and that's the closest venue to you, I think. It's 3.3 miles, so a fair bit longer than any other speed event in the UK. 26th March.
