Shelsley Predictions.......

Groves? Scotty?.....another record??

...or can Mr Merrick show some more of his recent brilliant form and sneak a surprise? Jos Goodyear and Trevor will be snapping at their heels no doubt too.

If its wet or damp i can see Trevor bagging a maximum score to be honest!

Whatever the case, il be there on Sunday, probably still hungover from my best man duties on Saturday, just what sort of a friend books his wedding on Aug National Shelsley weekend....Doh!

Martin does seem to get the upper hand at SW but Scotty is always right up his exhaust so its going to be close...

I predict Martin first with Scotty second....

Third to be fought out amongst Boycey,Scary Trev,Jos,Junior,Paul and a few others..

I think that there will be a three way fight for the points with Martin Groves, Scott Moran and Graeme Wight Junior. I guess Martin might take two wins as he needs it more than the other two.

I will also be interested to see all the historic cars especially the Peter Collins cars.

Sunday hopefully will be blessed with the usual good Shelsley weather, that is unless one of the locals knows differently?

Metcheck weather forecast currently looks ok and they are normally fairly reliable.

I sent a message to the Head Gardener asking him to consult the Mighty Martley Pine Cone and the omens are good. I think he may have also cut the FLoads's grass this week. And consumed gallons of their tea.

I have three of his spare smaller cones and they are telling me the weather over the next few days is to be better than forecast.

PS what makes you think that Shelsley usually has good weather? Historically it was a wet venue. I will introduce you to Howard and his chums for some of their real life experiences.

After viewing the Metcheck forecast I think I will get a sick note now.

Don't blame me if it's wrong, my only weather prediction is there will be some.
