The track etc is in perfect condition. The pits have been labelled and it was interesting to see the 'named' ones with cars that they will be driving. We can only hope for reasonably good weather.

Points situation. I always get befuddled with the points at this stage of the season. Let's see if can get my head around it this year.

Mr.G. Has 165 points but has no scored on six rounds, therefore his after drop score tally is also 165.

Mr.M. has 227 points and his worst six scores are 6,8,9,9,9 & 9 making 50 leaving him with 177 ofter drop scores. By my reckoning, 12 points ahead, real terms.

If Scotty comes 2nd in each of the ten remaining rounds, Martin would need to win all ten and score records at three rounds to win. A couple of wins and consistant seconds would stitch it up. Is that right?

There are some calculations in this thread. I agree with your summary though Scott has more leeway as he can score poorly in 4 or 5 of the remaining rounds and they will become dropped and the 9's will become active scores.
