Two very interesting run offs. I hope that Derek is feeling ok after his moment at top ess in the second run off. Well done to all the marshals that endured silly weather on Saturday and the sunshine all day yesterday. It was certainly a long day yesterday with a lack of organisation at the end of the day leading to some marshals leaving the hill about 1/2 an hour after others and also some drivers also missing their transport back home.
I would like to thank some drivers for their concern about the top paddock marshals and your comments have been forwarded to all who worked the top paddock this weekend. Hopefully once I have calmed down I will be at Gurston next weekend. Should see you all there. |

Oh yes, he was certainly suprised saying he didn't feel that he was meant to be in the top 12 when he reached the finish.

Just to add my comments on an ace weekend at SW, and a big thank you to all the marshals, who helped make it such a good week end, and had a real mixed bag of weather to deal with over the two days. A PB of 28.40 for me rounded off the whole weekend, thanks again....Mark (car 81).

Must be just as exciting trying to stop in time for the top paddock.

I think that the most exciting braking must have come from Paul Ranson (133mph) and Martin Groves (132mph) slowing for the bottom Ess!!!!!!!
