Silverstone

Is anyone staying overnight on Saturday and will we have access to the Garages?

Trying to decide between a night in the trailer or a Very Early start on on Sunday morning!

Angus, you are in garage 2. Access from 20.00 on Saturday evening. The finals were sent out last week via email and you should have recieved yours. The tickets should also have arrived.

Yes both received, but they only talk of entrance to the circuit and overnight parking.

To sleep over I would need to offload the car hence the question about getting access into the garage.

Having not been before, what is the place and track like?

The only time I have been to Silverstone is 1981 GP watching John Watson in the Maclaren MP4 beat the turbo Renaults.!

Angus/David
Here's what I emailed to Eastwyke the other night:

Access to the Stowe circuit is around the outside of the main circuit behind the spectator areas.

Drive up to the outer main gate where they check your ticket then turn right and follow the outer perimeter road past old Abbey then down to Club then Stowe round the back of all the grandstands.

Then after Stowe as you come up the outside of hangar straight you'll see the Porsche experience building.

Turn left and go over the bridge and you are pointing straight at the back of the pits building of the Stowe circuit.

Eddie

Access was available last year to the garages on the evening before the sprint. This year things should be a tad better without the Super Karts.

Well......Weather was lovely.....

Huge entry.....Too huge.......Finished dead on the curfew with just over 15 mins for lunch

Mind you.......We couldn't afford too long for lunch as the food prices were ridiculous and we didn't get any sign on money either

F2's sounded good on the main circuit though....
