Single Seater bodywork

I have looked at the blue book and having been left none the wiser, is anyone able to advise on whether a single seater can be run and log booked without bodywork now??(like the Ghost)

The chassis is spaceframe and the cockpit sides are already fully clad in ali, so the torso is fully covered. It would just mean running with no cockpit top and nose leaving the spaceframe and me obviously showing forward of the dash bulkhead.

With the cockpit cover removed my arms comfortably rest on the cockpit sides when not holding the wheel with all side bars covered by the ali as mentioned.

Reason for question - at 6ft and 16st I find it impossible to get in and out of it with the existing, extremely fragile ancient cockpit top in place. With the top removed its great.

thanks

Leight
