As I don't know of anyone else who ended up in the kitty litter I presume this was meant for me. If you were one of the marshals who dug me out I'm eternally grateful and I'll let you have the Quarry Corner gravel back next meeting!!
I'll also need to wash out my overalls after the throttle sticking moment at what would have been a little over 90 mph!!
All the same a great meeting and superb weather.

Richard

Well held Richard ! Heard you well before we saw you. No footage of it but this was posted in the last 24 hrs. Must have had a press vest from the camera positions.

I suspect ALL the footage was taken from the spectator areas. Easy enough to duplicate just need to stand in the right places (e.g. behind the farm buildings on the access road and just up from Country on the piles of tyres). I also don't remember seeing anyone with a white vest carrying a video camera.

Not a bad day; two new class records and dozens of PBs!

From the start beam shots (8:15) I would say he was shooting with a SLR and I'm certain he was trackside. Shot at 0:37 seems to be directly between Country & Orchard and you can't get that from spectator side (it's somewhere I had wondered if you could stand) or get to the outside of the first corner at 1:44

The Youtube stuff was shot by an a "signed on", he was, as Rich Danby says, in the middle of the field between Willow and Orchard, never seen anyone else there.

Thanks for your efforts Andy, the gravels already bagged up ready for return.
As for the onboard I have to report that it failed to work on that run (s*d it!!!) I musn't have pressed the shutter firmly enough when leaving the paddock all the other runs from Sunday are on video, but not the one I wanted.
Shame because it would have made a great one for the archives. Anyway back to the workshop now....

Richard
