Another 6kgs of weight off the car, at this rate i'll have it under 400 kgs.

Being new to this , do i get some written clarification/ change notice to update my blue book ? As having to refit a reverse gear at a later date would at best be a pain. Thanks

It should be in the next issue of Motorsport Now magazine.

Or you could write to the MSA.

Personally, I cant see how the update can in any way be misinterpreted. Anyone care to enlighten me?

I was just about to ask about reverse! We had been planning to be a bit naughty and try and get away with no reverse (£600 for something that wont ever get used...) in the Modified Specialist catagory, seeing as quite a few of bike engined cars in the class had no reverse gear and we'd be far from competitive for a while anyways. The blue book says '10.8.2. Hill Climb Super Sports, Sports Libre and
Racing Cars. Reverse gear is not required' which would seem to include mod prod... however I'm not going to argue!
