about sprints ?

hi all as a guernsey hillclimb driver, i no nothing about the uk sprint scene
im thinking i would like to have a go at a couple this year.
could any one advise me on some good ones say no more than a good few hours from poole, and if possible so im not having to join lots of different clubs.

are the regs the same ?

Yes, MSA rules for Sprints and Hillclimbs are the same.

Geography of Englandshire not being my strong point, can't help with venues or clubs in the deep south, but there is bound to be a championship that would give good invitations to events without having to join loads of clubs.

Castle Combe near Bristol, Llandow near Cardiff, Lydden Hill near Dover, Pembrey near Swansea, Colerne near Bath all come to mind, south of the M4. If you have a Speed 'A' you could enter the 2010 SBD British Sprint Championship in their Junior Challenge covering 4 events for £30.
