Strut braces & Northern Speed Classes

Just had conformation from Ron Hunt that non adjustable bolt in strut braces ARE ALLOWED in the road going Northern Speed classes for 2012.

See the Chester and Liverpool Speed Championship web site

Non-adjustable Strut Braces across the top of the front suspension turrets are allowed but these must be removable and not welded in place

Oh dear I completely missed your thread James. I was just so pleased to see that I could keep my strut brace as it more hanging off it than the average Xmas tree and wanted to pass on the good news.

I feel a bit Corporal Jones

As for spherical bearings that are "integral to the uprated damper"..... I give up.

I'm so glad now that I spent an afternoon recently re-routing cables around the engine bay so that I could easily remove our strut brace. Still I'm glad we can now retain what can only be considered a major investment on a car like ours. By the way Russell your post reminded me that I'd forgotten to make an announcement which I've now done in General Motorsport.
