Testing?
When the need to test arises what do people do? I have just tried to book a Trackday as a shakedown for the Gryphon i have bought before going Racing, and they have just cancelled my booking after requesting pictures.
It has not been raced for a while although i have checked everything over and changed/serviced it i do not know what it will be like in anger. Ian |

Quite a number of track days don't allow non-road legal / specialist race cars. However, local clubs often organise test days at the likes of Curborough etc. Take a look at the HSA site for more detail. I believe you can also book out Curborough for testing with a few chums for a relatively reasonable sum.

I believe Curborough charges under £300 for a booking for a half day session, that allows up to 5 cars so under £60 a car. Not sure tho if that is an SDCC members rate.

Check out Javelin Trackdays
They operate a couple of venues where they have a sprint track and allow single seater racecars. They are based in East Midlands but cover quite a large area Neville |

If 2nd Oct isn't too late you could try Aintree:
http://www.liverpoolmotorclub.com/tr...y-information/ They definitely allow clubmans & open wheelers & also, fairly convenient for N. Wales.

Teeside Autodrome only cost us £50 for half day. Pretty good with a few twistys + short/medium length straights and a good surface/kerbs. It's more suited to smallish cars but offers good value.
