Triple C tuning books?

Way way back Tripple C did a soft back series of books for tuning Small fords, Triumphs and I think Viva's.

Does anyone know the total subjects covered in the short series?

I've just bought the Small Ford one, and I thnk in the loft I have the Triumph one (Spitfires/Herald).
I'm looking to collect the series.

Any info please?

Graham.

There is a list in the back of the "Tuning Four Cylinder Fords" (Page 148) :-)

I also have the "Tuning Triumphs under 1300cc"

Not sure if these are the books I'm on about.

Just found out off Amazon they did a Tuning Imps, but the Small Fords one is in £/S/d.
The Triumph one has a Peter Cox Spitfire on the front.

They seem to be rare!

Nice thing is they are hard to find and cheap when you get there (£11 off ebay a few days ago.)

Thanks for the info!
Graham.

Brings back memories of a dim and distant there
Are these the ones that were done by a selection of specialist authors such as Noade, Vizard etc?

I seem to remember there were a set covering A-Series, X-Flow, VW and Imp.

They all were by specialists of the time.
All had a fixed cover format, but i am particularyly interested in the Triumph one as i followed it on my first Mk2 Spitfire and it sure did work.

Going to 1971 ish so way back and hence the price truely in 'old money'

Anyone have a Truimph one with the Cox Spitfire on the front please?

Well, I've got:
"Tuning a Mini" by the late, great Clive Trickey - 9/6p
"Modifying Production Cylinder Heads" also by CT - 8/-
"Tuning Anglias and Cortinas" revised by Martyn Watkins - 12/-
"Racing Engine Preparation" CT - 16/-

Price inflation anyone? These were the days of the great Wilson Socialist Republic of Britain experiment....

But, enough of such mean spirited sniping - they were great books. Where is their like today?

Just for a bit of balance, anyone remember inflation at 25%+ (Summer '74 after 4 years of Heath government) & back into double-figures in the early '90's (after 12 years of Tory government - yes it easy to pick one's damned lies
