Two Rare and old hill climb books

Hi, I have found myself with duplicates of "Speed Hill Climb" by C.A.N May published 1962 and "Sprint: Speed Hillclimbs and Speed Trials in Britain 1899 - 1925" by T.R. Nicholson published 1969. Both in good condition with rubbed dust jackets. Both are first editions. "Sprint" has lots of stuff on the early days of our sport including full event lists for each year covered. Did you know they used to do hill climbs in Colwyn Bay, speed trials in Blackpool, Eastbourne and Bexhill? Or if you were a tradesman you could enter your van in class A of the Bridlington and district MC trial at Kingsgate Road?

"Speed Hill Climb" covers 1945 to 1962 and the beginings of the Hill Climb Championship. Lots of photos, plans of various course (including now forgotten venues such as Westbrook Hay and Great Auclum) and results from each championship round.

I saw dealers selling "Sprint" for £135 and "Speed Hill Climb" for £40 at Goodwood. I am not a dealer so will sell for a lot less. If interested PM me.

Thanks.
