This car was a clever bit of kit for its era, unless i am confused with another car i think it had water sprayers on rear wheels to aid launch of the line .

Whilst Peter Voigt was conducting the car up the hills you could see the toe-end of his racing boots which poked up through a slot in the upper bodywork. It was fascinating to watch.

I also remember Peter used to attach a giant stuffed bee to the roll-over bar whilst it was sat in the paddock waiting for its next assault on the hill.

Rob there are other launch aids in the system. For the record the water system got banned
