Website hacked?

Did anyone experience this website being hacked this morning by an Islamic group? Uphillracers was replaced by a website showing images of the 9/11 attack on the Twin Towers.

My PC seemed fine. All other websites working OK and my Firewall & AV oftware did not report anything.

mmm, very odd. Lasted a couple of hours. Once it was resolved, the UphillRacers site was displayed again but I could not login.

I found the site hacked too, you weren't imagining it.

Well spotted some of you.
The server that this site lives on was attacked at 10:16 on Saturday morning.
First indications showed that the main index file had been altered and was replaced with the index.php from Thursdays site back up.
Closer inspection revealed every index file in every directory had been altered making access very difficult and then it was found that every index file on the server for all sites was affected.
A decision was made to restore the server to the 06:00 backup after fixing the hole and all was well and nothing had been lost.

Thanks for bearing with us. I could think of better ways of spending 3 hours last Saturday.
