Westfield SEi rolling chassis. Hayabusa ready.
Car was originally prepared for hillclimb/sprinting but would also be suited for track.
Suspension: On the front of the chassis is AVO alloy bodied, rose jointed, adjustable pan and adjustable damping shock absorbers. Fitted with 1.9 coil springs. Fully rose jointed top and bottom wishbones which allows you to have full adjustment. 2 and a quarter turn quick steering rack with rose jointed track rod ends to allow to dial out bump steer. Lightweight Alloy uprights and lightweight alloy hubs. Fully adjustable anti roll bar with rose jointed drop links. On the rear are AVO shock absorbers and springs as fitted to the front. Alloy uprights with rose jointed wishbones for setup adjustment. Suspension setup by Dave Pillinger motorsport including corner weights. The lightest Westfield he's weighed. Brakes: Front brakes are Lockhead alloy 4 pot calipers with vented bells and disks. The rears have new Willwood alloy twin pot calipers with lightweight solid disks. There is an inline line lock used as a handbrake. Competition braided hoses on all 4 corners plus front to back. Floor mounted adjustable pedal box which allows you to adjust the brake bias back to front. Also adjustable on length of pedals. Drivetrain: Rear diff is from a Ford Granada Cosworth. The ratio is 3.1. Alloy cased with LSD. This has been converted by myself to allow the right ratio gearing. Uprated driveshafts. There is an as new alloy cased Quaife reversing box fitted with new propshafts. Wiring/Dash: Fully instrumented dash from the Hayabusa bike plus key ignition and start button with switch on the dash. All instuments are there but not shown in the pictures. Fully modified loom with ECU. Bodywork: Carbon fibre lookalike mud guards and wind deflector. Adjustable rear arches to allow you to use wider rims if needed (up to 10J) and easier to replace if damaged. I have moulds for these. Wheels/Tyres: 4 7x13 alloy superlights fitted with Avon wets. Other: RAC approved roll cage. Lightweight race bucket seat with 4 inch race harness. Removable suede steering wheel. Small alloy radiator complete with electric fan. Spec-R Alloy oil catch tank and alloy header tank. Alloy race fuel tank which is foam filled to stop fuel surge. Hayabusa fuel pump fitted in rear next to tank. Fuel line front to back is braided. Also if needed (at extra cost) I have a genuine brand new Westfield air filter which is the correct one for the cut out in the bonnet and a stainless steel exhaust manifold which is also new plus a large alloy repackable silencer. Bodywork is as you see. Little work to prepare ready for spraying. I have had a standard Hayabusa engine fitted into the car which was running but decided to fit a race Haybusa engine which I still have and is for sale seperately. Loom and ECU is still in place to take a Hayabusa engine. Everything else is in place to drop a Hayabusa engine in. More photos available on request. £5,995 but may p/x for something interesting.
