We Actually did a moonlight beach race once , started at dusk then went into the dark, was a great success from the spectator point of view, hundreds ending up watching an event that was not advertised ( especially after richening up the mix on my autograss buggy to produce 3' flames from straight thru exhaust pipes )but were a bit ambitious trying to light up a car and a bike track. Hats off to the marshal who ended up being our point to turn in at , did not move an inch all night.
