Having returned from the Pre Internet Age . all the data is there now .

To be fair it wasn't the lack of Internet access. as that is available up in the Camp site, if you park in just the right place, it was the getting the data to the camp site in the first place

Can anyone throw any light on why Adam Steel's fantastic first timed run of 36.88 was disallowed (and I see from the Woolbridge MC results that neither he nor Tony completed any more runs)? There is a mention of "running out of sequence"?

Rumor was that the engine was not running or not running correctly, the fault eventually traced to a faulty sensor. I'm guessing that this forced them to run out of class...........

There was an electrical problem with the engine, after much wiggling and pulling he managed to get the engine running for 1 run. Adam ran at the very end of the program well after his spot and all other top 12 runners had gone. His time was disallowed for qualifying but stood as a class record.

In this instance the weather was the same and all was fair, wonder what would have happened if the weather had been more changable?

Thanks Iranoff and Hasta, it is good to know how the runs are going especially for those of us in the frozen North for whom even Harewood is a long haul.

Your efforts are appreciated.
