Double Driven

Carol(wife) & I have shared our Westy for last 4 years and considering I have blown it up (Aintree) and she has backed it in to the tyres at Blyton it is going well....as long as I can keep in fron of her.....down to 3 secs this year!!!!!

The only thing I would mention is that you think it halves the cost, which it does, but of course anything consumable (tyres, brakes, clutch) and non-consumable (bushes, driveshafts, dampers, bearings) wears out twice as quickly.

I've done 3 lots of shared drives. One with an arrive and drive deal from a generous owner- brilliant. One with a shared cost which was a bit fraught and didn't work well. The last was another shared cost which did work well. Whilst the deal/financial side is important, picking the right person is probably more important. If you can both get on, then most issues are sensibly resolved.
