WSCC Blyton Sprint 21st - 22nd July

WSCC Blyton Park Sprint Weekend

Saturday 21St & Sunday 22nd July 2012

The Westfield Sports Car Club (WSCC) is organising a Sprint Weekend at Blyton Park Circuit over the weekend of the 21st & 22nd July. This will be a single lap event as per the MSA Track License. It is a weekend event with a round on Saturday, (round 1) and a round on Sunday (round 2). Results will be published at the end of each day for that round. The Awards to be held on Sunday will be an amalgamation of the best times of the 2 rounds. Supplementary regulations, together with an entry form for competitors can be found here http://forum.wscc.co.uk/forum/index....-speed-series/ Click on the link for "more information" for a copy of the regs and paper entry form.

We will also be running a track day on Friday 20th July to allow competitors to familiarise themselves with the circuit prior to the event. The trackday unfortunately is NOT open to racing cars. You can enter the trackday online here
http://forum.wscc.co.uk/forum/index....park-trackday/

Camping will be available on the Friday & Saturday nights and it is our intention to organise a BBQ meal on the Saturday night if there is enough interest.

Further details will be announced as they become available. But for any further information not in the forms please contact me. If you would like copies of the information, regs or paper trackday entry form please email me and I will send back to you.

Entered (eventually). Took a few goes but if it saves 50pence on a stamp, then I'm all for it.

Nick, there doesn't appear to be an option for people to only do one of the two days, is this correct.

Yes, that is correct, all the Championships have it down as a 2 day event, and we can make it cheaper by having a full weekend event. Anyone who is struggling to make 2 days please contact me direct via PM or email.

Got your entry thanks Graham.

For anyone else who is entering, if you have problems on-line and can't get round them, then please use the paper form that is with the regs. But also can you let me know what you problem was so that we can try and resolve it.

Also if you have got a PayPal receipt then we will have received your entry. I am away from next Thurs for a couple of weeks, so will try and acknowledge entries that are received before that with a quick e-mail, but then will catch up on my return 8th June.

Thanks for your patience

The "WSCC Championship Reg Number" is still a required field, when I'd answered No to "Registered for the WSCC Speed Series" earlier?

I pressed submit, and the form lost a couple of my answers lower down. I entered an arbitrary answer to the above question regarding WSCC registration. On my third attempt it submitted.

Nothing too serious Nick

Thanks Graham, think I have fixed that so you don't have to enter anything.

Nick,
Do you think the track is faster (speed on the straights) than Landow. I hit the rev limiter on both straights at Llandow in top gear so any faster there will be alot of popping and banging.

Eric
