Not for me thanks.
1/2 mile? Not for a while. It's only 1/4 mile these days. (Unless you were calculating the total competitive distance, perhaps?)

If you measure competing at Brighton on £/mile you are really missing the point, badley.

Brighton - Prescott - Brighton = 300 miles - not that much of a difference Richard!
But I drive home when I'm at Prescott and Shelsley

So; Solihull - Brighton - Prescott - Solihull - Prescott - Solihull = 451 Miles

How often do you compete in front of a large crowd in such a unusual setting. It is the same rational for competing at Crystal Palace.

Two timed quarter mile runs = 1/2 mile
No championship points.
Like I said, doesn't float my boat.

Still would like to see a 1/4 mile in the championship, but as Brighton isn't included, it's not attractive.

It's just one of those events that you have to do (at least) once in your life.

11.81 sec fastest run, 127MPH terminal. Not to bad, won the class and 8th overall.

These are the times from the data logger

I beat the BAC Mono in my class, as well as a Caterham 620R driven by Scott Mansell, Aventedor Roadster, Ferrari F40 and another Sylva Phoenix with a cossie engine running 480BHP (!). Great day....

This gives you a flavour of what you where all missing
