I'm interested in entering in my BMW E30 M3 but just a little nervous, with regard to my relative lack of experience? I have only done 7 or 8 UK events over the past couple of years and wondered if this might present a problem?

I would also be on a bit of a shoestring budget and probably look to camp in my van.

My advice would be to go and have a look first.

You will need a National A Open licence to participate at a "National level" event in Europe.

Don't be put off, go and spectate and you will be glad you did!

Thanks. I'm thinking of doing just that in May. Meanwhile, I guess I should look into upgrading my licence.

There are no objections to competitors camping in the paddock. I have never felt a shortage of room in any of the paddocks that I have been in. However, remember that some 'paddocks' are in the streets all around the venue and I find that the locals are more than willing to help out with fresh water and even let you plug into their house electric.

At a National event my understanding is that EVERY-ONE including 'demo' drivers must have the correct licence which would be to National 'A' UK standards. and you must take photo copies of all documents...

As my good friend David says, the level of event demands the National A Open licence regardless of where you participate.

Hebecrevon is a NPEA level event registered with the FIA.

There is always the chance the FIA will check on the licences used and it saves the organisers and you becoming embroiled in any embarrassment .

National et Pilotes Etrangers Acceptee.

More information

With the assistance of Greg from this forum, I've now had the following email responses from the organisers (with English translations).....

Btw Greg Guille isn't attending this year so the 'Greg will tell you' comment from Didier isn't correct.

Bonjour
Le prix n’est pas encore défini cela sera entre 120 à 150 €, la configuration Anglaise pour les voitures, il n’y a que Greg Guille qui peut vous dire pour la classe.
