No it was for this 109 block, i will have to make a relief on one end of the baffle plates as the steel cap at the cam gear end won't let it sit straight ( touching the corners of the cap )

Ah, you have steel timing gears. I have seen several sets of these have the corners taken off with a grinder.....

Hi Mike, funny you should bring this up, I met up with the Mallocks at the Bo'ness hillclimb the other week and they took the screamer engine back down south for Charlie to build and finish off.

So time to pull the car out and get stuck into it again.....

So are you now going to be running a later Ford engine, i thought yours had a side valve engine in it?
Mine has finally been dropped off at Mallocks for chassis work to commence, only taken me 12 years to get round to getting it under way!............Martin

Hi Martin, Well done fella...
Yes i now have a screamer of sorts It actually down there now for Charlie to build up.

The Sidevalve is hopefully sold to a couple of guy's with a early Lotus so hopefully will be down there soon with the car for a final push to get it finished

I saw your car when it was down there a couple of years ago, very impressive, i hope mine turns out as nice as that. I am sticking a tweaked pre crossflow Ford in mine, the engine is being `borrowed` from one of my Fairthorpe projects till it is needed for that, currently that one is not a priority to finish.
What are you going to using your one for, Hill Climbing?...........Martin

Yes probably....Had a bit of health scare and got a couple of stents, Then had a carry on getting my license so spat the dummy and just locked her up in the garage for a bit...

Talking to a couple of guy's it's no real biggie and just have to approach the license in a certain way, And the Bo'Ness hill climb had spurred me on a bit...

I'll check your's out when i down there....
