Assuming all is ok with car and work I intend to be there......last time I went I got BTDBTDBTD.....not sure I'll achieve that in a 1977 Skoda but anything is possible (no it's not!)

Hi Rod. Are classes 1A to 1C allowed to use list 1b tyres, harewood have changed to list 1b so we don't have any 1A tyres. Your regs say only 1A .

When did harewood change spec on tyres? In there schedule 5 speed event classes 2017 it says "classes 1A 1C 1D and 1F must use tyres from 2017 MSA Tech regs list 1A or 1B .Tyres must be in road legal condition" or am i not getting the point as usual like my other half says!!

Harewood went as per blue book i.e. 1a AND 1b for 2017. Clubs previously signed up to the "northern regs i.e. 1a only Midland Speed and Nottingham Sports Car club went as per blue book in 2016. I was a long time supporter and think the Northern regs served a purpose to protect records whilst we all feared that the MSA would change their minds on 1b tyres in roadgoing but it's been over 10 years now and it looks like they are here to stay so, personally I'm happy to go "as per blue book" it looks like the remaining "northern" clubs (Longton, Liverpool, Chester, Auto 66, Pendle, Mid Cheshire and the other I can't think of...) have the opportunity to reconsider their position for 2018.

Regards
James

Hi,
copying an incentive from the recent Blyton event,Pendle have decided to follow suit in that, there will be a draw on the event, whereby the winner of the draw will receive £40 .The criteria to be met for this ..Entries must be in and paid for by 29th July...to encourage early entries
Also the first set of regs on our website, had class errors on them, please check and see if it affects you.
I will email them out to to individuals as/when asked.
Thanks Rod

There isn't camping available at the venue. I have camped at whitegates campsite at Holmfirth before and it is pretty good, irs roughly 6 miles from scammonden. It is worth ringing them asap if you want to camp.
