It does have a six point cage with diagonal but it's not MSA compliant as the tube diameter is to small, it was fitted to aid chassis stiffness more than anything.
Thanks for the info Biggles, good to hear that someone else is running a 'saloon' in the same class. That gives me the confidence to get on with the build over the winter and have some fun come spring. I'm sure other things will crop up but it's good to know that this forum active & knowledgeable. Now where did I put that welder....... |

Is it a Rover 620 turbo engine, or is it a 2.0 engine from an MG ZR with a turbo fitted? I believe the latter could be allowed under the "induction is free" reg.

I thought the T series block was the same as the diesel block fitted in Rover 25 / 45 cars , regs state easily identifiable , no reference to fuel type , I fell foul of same rule mind with a Daewoo Nexia fitted with a Vauxhall Redtop so I could be ( and often am !) wrong
