Of course you can still compete with bare feet while having to have a MSA sticker on your FIA approved FHR and a MSA approved Li battery.

Some of things you can or can't do defy logic and sadly things looks to be getting more nit picky, all making the scruts job harder to do in the allotted 6 minutes or so

Seriously-what a farce.The only relevant information I can find is from the AAIB,where a couple of (electrically) powered gliders have had nasty in flight fires .The conclusion was that the batteries had been dropped and damaged,and the recommendation was that suitable monitoring equipment was fitted.
