Championship Leader

For the first time since its inaugural year the British Sprint Championship has a Lady Driver in top spot. Heather Calder currently holds a four point lead over Stephen Miles & Colin Calder.

Steve I am pretty sure I am about to be shot down in flames but didn't Patsy Burt win the championship in 1970? at least that's what the bmsa website says.

And super fast she is. Very impressive to watch the car control and speed of the Calder Gould. I am looking forward to the next few rounds.

In the inaugural year Patsy Burt was the British Sprint Champion and Heather is the first lady driver to lead the championship since 1970.

Two wins at Kirkistown has seen Heather Calder extend her lead in the championship as her father Colin moved into second place.
