Section J, Appendix 1, Page 156 has a drawing of a "cow horn" wheel with a cross through it, though I believe there may be a qualification somewhere allowing them in drag racing.

I spoke to Momo UK about this a while ago. They sell loads in to Europe, the US allows it too, just not MSA. Must be continuous

seems to me you all spend way too much time looking at the dash rather than looking where you are going. Its only 30 to 90 seconds a run

Yes, all you need to see whilst driving is the big red "something horrible just happened" light to tell you to stop and switch off.

I could conceed also a gear change light, but I never used one.

The problem is on a lot of modern single seat or sports racers is that the traditional area for mounting a display has reduced in size so there is no room left for instruments or is invisible behind the wheel as the cars are designed for in wheel displays which means the warning lights, change lights and rev counter need to be forward of the wheel.

Jeff - will your display reposition to the wheel? I had a Momo that had a diy Aim G-Dash in their wheel that looked like the one in your link.

J 5.7.1 and J 5.7.2 seem to have this covered.

Agree with Webby - dave Cutliff refused to be allowed to start last march at Combe. I lent him my spare

Just for my own amusement can anyone think of a reason why, on safety grounds, you shouldn't be allowed to run a wheel which is FIA approved by banned by the MSA?
