It may be a bizarre thread for UHR but it gives us something of interest to read when we can't get outside because of the white stuff!

This would be not unusual topic or interest level on the MG Midget BBS technical forum, which got over 140 posts worldwide on problems with sourcing the correct front wheel bearings!

Every day is a learning day with old car bits

Cheers
Mike

No oil leaks!
At lest so far.
When the snow is gone I can use it on the old 911 and see if it is ok.

Just try the old 911 world I've been immersed in since 1988 for size.
Just when was the number of perforations per 50mm square on 911 head liner material changed and when did they go from square to diamond pattern?

Easy, it all changes if you stretch it tight or not so tight.
That saw well over a 1000 posts....

I know some totally obsessive fanatics of detail for pre 1973 Porsches, I'm just one who like modified ones, so not really 'normal' for that breed!

My old jack has been under (literally) pressure from the weight of a 911's front end and not a weep and not a drop in height, and not a drop of oil anywhere.
Each stroke of the handle raises the arm with no short fall right from Down to Up.
Thus I think somehow it has passed and been saved from the tip.
The snow is all but gone after today's big thaw, so the end of this little winter diversion so back to work all of you and getting a Rob Steven's 1,000,000 bhp in the cars for next year

I think Libre over 2 Litres is going to be tough for me in '18.....

Only 3 months or so to Loton Practice Day!
