Good point Steve, I suppose that is the same thinkng behind FF1600 dampers which have no adustment whatsoever, but are obviously valved by the manufacturers to suit the chassis/ formula.
All this advice however is getting very confusing except the main message seems to be buy the best you can afford - there obviously is no easy (cheap) fix!

Personaly I would think the lesson may be buy reasonable quality and use the money saved to pay someone to set them and possibly the car corner wieghts etc. well?
2015 the year of the V8 postponed again
