seat

im looking to get a bag seat fitted to a single seater
Has anyone had one fitted recently
any recomendations

I made my own (and it shows).
You can buy 2 part polyprop from DT (others too), mix it into a rubbish sack and then sit on the sack until it expands around your nether regions (a few minutes) remove it, paint it and use it.

That makes it sound very simple and it is very easy to produce a seat, but there are so many pitfalls. I don't know anyone who has got it right first time.

If you decide to do it yourself I'll give you all the advice that I can remember. Then it's trial and error - mostly error.

Failing that does anyone have contact details for Ian Fugitt.

I've made both myself - i.e. the polybead type and the 2 part polyurethene foam type, the bead type is stronger and less 'risky' to make because you don't have to allow for the rate of expansion hich is part of the foam process.

I now use the foam version.

However the foam version will cost you £18 -google cfsnet -or you could buy the same thing from DT for an additional 25 quid!!

Plenty of ytubes on how to do it.................
