I tried to diffuse said character ...his behaviour was disgraceful....whatever beef he had should not have been directed at anyone chin to chin.....if I have the misfortune to meet him again then I'll just ignore is foul mouthed rants ...life if far to short
Anyway, back on topic- I still feel MAC did a great job of trying something new..and will clearly listen to reasoned views
The sport need to do "somethings" new to try and maintain interest at all levels
I still want 2 practice runs on sat in a timely fashion :-)

I have thought about this some more. Whilst I am thick skinned, the next person he tries to intimidate and bully may not be. I also feel for the lady and child walking past who had to witness this tirade. I therefore thought that I should do something about it, or, as Dante put it rather more eloquently...

"The darkest places in hell are reserved for those who maintain their neutrality in times of moral crisis." - Dante Alighieri

I have therefore reported the incident to WM police and left a suitable rating on Trip Advisor. Please PM me if anyone else has had an issue or feel free to add to WM police incident no: 127S250517.

We can do without his sort.

He may well be not so lucky next time as someone may well not take the pacifist approach. If it were me I would kick his wotsits up.

Well done Clive, the right approach.
Your complaint may not be 'his' first, could be others.
I have someone across the road from me in a similar 'attitude', threatening with a fist, on my land while I washed my car.

He accused me of speeding and I'm going to kill the children...
He could barely stand still, swayed around on the spot.
I spoke 2 words to him and he went away (and it was not f-off I spoke).

The world has such people and they usually have issues and nothing to do with you, just the incident sparks them off.

Police said they could only do something if he approached me again, within 6 weeks and about the same subject and actually assaulted me, then they can consider action.

In the pre-amble from Shelsley today about the entries etc for the up coming BRG meeting it states clearly the man DOES have every right to drive up the church/B&B road against the flow we have been told to observe.

Thus this conflict will happen again.
Beware Morgans driving up the road!

BRG Meeting 3/4 June

No provision for 3rd practice at all................

And a few words of praise for Loton last weekend. 3 cars on the track at once, it all went like clockwork and 3 practices for everyone.

If you want more practice runs at Shelsley, it's largely in your hands.

First, don't go off, break down, etc. Remember, it's practice! You don't get anything for beating a record.

Second, be ready to line up as soon as the previous car has left the line. Don't wait until it's gone before you remove your tyre wrap. Aim to stop with your strut just beyond the line, as this speeds up lining-up.

Third, make sure your front-facing (not up-facing on the front wing) number is actually visible to the timekeepers. If we can't see the number, it delays us releasing you while we work out who you are.

When it's all working well, we can get cars away at about 20 seconds interval.
