I found the whole 2 days great.
We did the Midlands, and the busy Saterday went by well, and Sunday went better.
What seemed to be a confusing weekend worked out well!
Well done to the MAC team.

Totally agree. Great weekend, though Saturday practice needs sorting for the MHC competitors.

Well done Robin, Rachel and Ream.

Yes that's the only slight thing I would change too, but a huge improvement for me is the 3rd practice one Sunday morning

I have sent a positive email to Robin, suggesting a few changes, but also to run the second practice in the order of the program, just like the fist and third sessions!
Several people left the trailer field through the entrance gate....

I have sent some thoughts to Robin

There are a couple of tweaks needed from a communication point of view, as it foxed the commentators once or twice, and we did end up flicking through the program to try and find out where we were. But an index in the program would help that - I choose to believe no one noticed

Whilst the yawning chasm between the first two practice runs for the Midland wasn't ideal - I can understand why it is necessary.

We got in the ball park of 600 runs done on the Saturday, but it was a busy and full day with only the one medium sized incident. Another medium or large incident and the day would have started falling badly behind.

And as much as it may dent pride/wishes etc - the Midlands second practice run (given the third run taking place on Sunday morning) was expendable if the meeting over ran badly.

Competitive runs for people who had paid their money for a one day meeting aren't really.

So whilst its not ideal for us, its also understandable in my opinion

Put yourself in the shoes of a meeting organiser - trying to make 600 cars a day work for the first time.

You are over running badly and a set of runs needs to be cut.

A third practice run for one set, or competitive runs for another.....

Who gets the chop? Which would be the most fair/least unfair?

or run the MHC 2nd practice earlier - we would generally be the quickest runners and hence utilise the least time..
all credit to MAC for trying something different
