Ian,
The plan was to get the Final Instructions out by the end of this week, so maybe they will arrive tomorrow, maybe Saturday. However I can't be certain because I am not involved with it.

Yes a strong entry overall.

9 cars in Class 5A (1100cc racing)
4 in your Class 5D (2000cc racing)
We even have an entry from France ~ John Page in a Ralt RT32 (Class 5C, 1600cc class).

A large field of Lotus 7's and a healthy class of Westfields too.

BTDBTDBTD will be a good battle. Likely candidates are Paul Masters (Jedi, 5A), Glyn Sketchley (Force, 5C) and Colin Birbeck (Dallara, 5D) although there are some other names that I do not recognise. If it is dry then the higher power cars will have the advantage on the International layout on Sunday.

Paul, I am still trying to reduce the margin. You always seem to be 2 secs faster no matter what the layout. Bit by bit I will close the gap.....

re: 16/17 Oct 10 Anglesey Sprint Weekend, Longton & DMC

I hope that everyone had a good event last weekend at Anglesey.

We were blessed with good weather. We got 4 timed runs on Saturday on the National circuit and 3 timed on Sunday on the fabulous International layout.

A few were new to the long and fast International layout but by the grins back in the paddock they enjoyed the exhilarating blast along the back ‘straight’ and the very hard braking and downshifting into the Rocket complex.

If you enjoyed it then please put the same weekend (15/16 Oct) in your diary for next year.

It’s one of the highlights of the calendar for many of us.
