I recently asked some questions regarding the ROPS on a Spaceframe Imp the I'm refurbishing and got a reply within 2 days. I have been trying to sort the certificate for a Mygale SJ 2000 for 18 months, to and froing between MSA/Mygale/Mygale dealer etc. I now have a certificate from the MSA that needs signing by Mygale, can I get it done? NO.
Ralt Rops certificate one call, all sorted.

If the Mygale paperwork is correct, then there should be no problem. 27 year old Ralt had a certificate why didn't a 17 year old Mygale?

Nick Skidmore will become famous soon enough
It's all dependant on the manufacturer, importer or series organiser registering with the MSA at the time. The paperwork and price has changed over the years but it all had to be sent to the MSA to get the certificate registered unless previously registered at the FIA as an 'International Series' car such as F3.

Mygale will have produced the relevant proofs but neither the FF series organiser or Alan Cornock will have done the last bit. It seems it's difficult to do it retrospectively as the manufacturer is the only one who can hand out new certs. in the present system and if Mygale can't be bothered for 17 year old cars then this could be the cause of the bother.

I have been dealing with Alan Cornock, he is just as frustrated as me about this and currently trying to sort it.
