In case this wasn't funny enough, the same MSA have e-mailed me noting that I haven't renewed my licence this year and suggesting that I might want to.

They also want me to pay a pile of money to upgrade the licence and then pay another pile of extra cash each year to renew the upgraded licence to drive the same car I've been driving for 3 years round the same venues I've been driving round for the last 14 years.

Given that I'm not intending entering any events at all this year - whether my car is declared ineligible, effective immediately or not - would anyone care to help me draft a reply?

David

David,
I'm sure you can think of all the sarcastic reasons like the cost of stickers to make your neck restraint and lithium battery safe in the eyes of the MSA etc without too much help from us,
If you do really need a little prompting i'm sure there are many who can give a few pointers.
Cheers
John

Completely off topic but has anyone ever heard a justification for why a Nat A licence costs considerably more than a Nat B??... Same bit of plastic from the same office.

Foolish boy, assuming that there is a justification, other than funding the bonus of the CEO.

Yet the bulletin remains unedited, and still says 1.6.4 is deleted...
